J2M

Esports, gaming and metaverse consulting

About J2M

J2M combines over 55 years of knowledge and experience from the video game, esports and metaverse universe into one consulting company, thanks to the careers of co-founders John Gaudiosi and John Benyamine. J2M helps Hollywood studios, brands and companies interested in targeting Millennial and Gen Z audiences where they digitally live today - and that’s primarily through some variation of gaming (esports, metaverse, mobile, console and PC).

Video games open up endless possibilities and opportunities for brands that want to creatively and authentically enter this space. From future metaverses to professional esports to casual mobile gaming, there are so many different audiences available to target. J2M’s founders have spent their entire careers fluently engaging with this audience - an audience they’re also part of as gamers themselves.

John Gaudiosi

John spent 25 years covering the global video game industry for international print, online and television outlets for millions of readers and viewers for both business and consumer media outlets like The Washington Post, Reuters, Fortune, The Hollywood Reporter, Entertainment Weekly, Playboy, Wired, IGN, USA Today and Tribune. He now uses this knowledge for content marketing, consulting and advising within the video game industry. Over the last decade of his journalism career, he focused on the production of video content for online syndication, which also included producing multiple documentary TV shows for The History Channel and Starz.

John co-founded Greenlit Content LLC with John Benyamine, which grew from four to 40 employees in three years and sold to RekTGlobal, Inc. in June 2019, earning our investors an 8x exit. We helped companies market to esports and gaming fans across Millennial and Gen Z audiences, including a network of over 100 million gamers. We handled everything from custom websites to social media marketing to video and editorial content covering all aspects of gaming and esports. During the pandemic we raised over $700,000 for charities through some of the biggest online charity esports tournaments across YouTube, Facebook Games and Twitch.

John’s currently co-founder of Moonrock Agency, which was launched as a 2.0 marketing agency designed to help gaming companies of all shapes and sizes, including those utilizing blockchain, crypto and NFT technologies. Moonrock is currently working with brands like Samsung Gaming Hub, Amazon Prime Gaming, Red Bull Media House, Microsoft, Shrapnel, HiDef, Vs. Evil, Skydance, Skybound Games and Rogue Games.

John’s also co-founder of J2M, which works as a consulting company to Hollywood studios, brands and any entities interested in exploring the esports, gaming or metaverse opportunities that are evolving today.
